The place your dog can finally be a dog!

Here at Parkside Pups, we believe that every dog should have a life full of excitement! While our daycare program has a variety of breeds, not every dog is suited for our off-leash, open-play environment. We take our daycare dog’s safety very seriously. Each dog who plays must first complete a thorough behavioral assessment to ensure that they are a “paw-fect” fit for our daycare program. Assessments are completed annually has dog’s behaviors will change, just like any person changes over the years. These assessments keep everyone involved safe and happy during their day of play!

For your dog’s first day of daycare please arrive a few minutes early. Your dog should be on a leash or slip lead. On your way into the lobby please ring the doorbell to the left of the door to notify staff of your arrival. If the “we’re playing outside” sign is on the door please follow the directions listed on the sign to find our staff. Once staff has collected your dog, they will discuss your dog’s history, any medical conditions, what to expect during the evaluation along with what to expect when your dog gets home from their busy day. Our evaluation process takes 4 hours to complete. During that time our staff will slowly introduce your dog to daycare dogs. They start out with submissive dogs and work up to different types of behavior and energy level. Once your dog is comfortable and we have found the “paw-fect” group for your dog to play in, they will all go outside to play.
